Well’ I’m back after a 3 month hiatus of sorts. As a bonus for all you folks and a way to make up for lost time, I’ll be delivering two podcasts this month. Here’s the first one and it’s got a nice mix of some new promo tracks, new releases and a few that have been hanging around in my library for a few months waiting for the right mix to come along. Particularly love the Scott Diaz- Let’s Get together, Enrico Martini, Kane Ian, and Darren Mclean – Hung Up and Wattie Green tracks. Also a quick shout out to Roshan…nice one! As always, please visit www.dsev.com for full 320kbps version Tracklist:

So this month I bring you a complete change of pace and style with a deep, sexy, moody and sultry mix. It’s been a long while since I did a deep house mix and in many ways this is going back to my early days of deep house parties and gigs in Philly. The mix is that kind of real late night set that kind of real late night set that has enough bit to keep you moving on the dancefloor, swirling in a translucent state, rhythmically moving your body by allowing the deep but yet vibrant sounds to channel some invisible current of house energy that guides you through the entire set… I’m getting carried away but that was my inspiration behind the mix. Anyway, tons of fabulous track here, some knew, some slightly older, one absolute classic, and a few stone cold gems in the bunch. My favorites of the bunch are the Sunju Hargon – Breakfast in Chicago track and the Dennis Ferrer - [Nite Grooves] Dem People Go (Fred Everything & Olivier Desmet) Simply beautiful stuff …and I can relate LOL. Hope you all like it. Enjoy! Tracklist

Hi there, I know it's been a while, but here is the latest mix/podcast for your enjoyment. It starts out a little gentler then works its way up to a nice rhythm with a bunch of solid and a few eclectic house tracks in there. Sure to give you a good vibration.

This is my latest mix fresh from my set from Wet @ the W Hotel Downtown Atlanta on New Year's Eve. The Transmission X crew was kind enough to invite me as their special guest and it was a fantastic night. Big props to C.G.Brown and Hellfyre. I may have been a special guest, but they were the stars of the night. A bunch of new tracks were thrown together for this mix. Certainly my most enjoyable mix to date. What a way to ring in the New Year and I’ll definitely be back in Atlanta real soon! Tracklist:

It is the middle of the summer. The nights are warm and full of vibrant energy. Very much like this mix. This one is strictly for those who wanna dance. No deep stuff, no slow build up, no rest for the weary, just over 2 hours of quality house music for your dancing pleasure. There are a lot of tracks that I really like in this mix, in fact I like each and every one of them. Kudos to all the producers on here. So play it loud, get your swerve on, get up and dance, and don’t stop till you drop. tracklist: 1. Jackin Box - [Flapjack] Do It Some More

Plus I brought in a classic track that I always loved as well. so check out the playlist below. Enjoy! tracklist
December Podcast - Movin & Shakin'
December 13, 2009 12:27 PM PST
Due to capacity issues I have had to remove the audio file from podomatic, but no worries, Download the full 320kbps mix here: http://www.dsev.com/music%20mixes/movinshakin.mp3 This mix has easily got to be my best/favorite to date and it is completely due to the quality tracks. Frankly I had not put out a fresh mix in a few months because I just couldn’t find the right tracks to both inspire me as well as to string together a quality set. But just this past week I picked up the last remaining tracks to complete this mix. Its rare to find the exact combination of tracks that completely blend together into a seamless mix. It is even rarer to find 19 tracks that are exactly in your musical sweet spot. Tracks that speak completely to my taste and style. Well I think this one fits the bill. So a special shout-out to each and every one of the artists represented in this mix. In particular the J&M Brothers, Sean Biddle, John Hawley, Fabio Bacchini, Tom Drummond (Inland Knights) and Emil Lane tracks had me bouncing of the walls in my studio. But all around Top notch stuff. My recommendation, find a nice spot and turn up the volume and get movin & shakin! Enjoy! Tracklist: 1. Chris Harris & Dom Martin - Mama Says [Guesthouse] 2. J&M Brothers - Supernatural Music [Music Taste] 3. Toka Project - Gonna B Alrite [Llama Farm] 4. Will Jax - Bass Licks [Greenhouse] 5. Chris Quadrant - Old Skool Junkie [Funk Mansion] 6. Emil Lanne - Honey [Flapjack] 7. Fabio Bacchini - Better Days(Nate Laurence) [Funkfield] 8. Fabio Bacchini - Better Days [Funkfield] 9. Tom Drummond - Downstrokin (Inland Knights) [Blockhead] 10. Erik Bo I Hear Music [Funk Mansion] 11. John Hawley - Electric Lush [Audio Indkia] 12. Jackin Box - Find Myslef (lost it found it mix) [Flapjack] 13. Sean Biddle - Cosmic Lust [Round House] 14. July 19, 2009 05:32 PM PDT
Due to Bandwidth issues, I've had to remove the mix from here, but no worries, you can download the full 320kbps mix here: http://www.dsev.com/music%20mixes/crosstownmotion.mp3 So I was back in NYC the other day taking driving crosstown from Hells Kitchen to Kipps Bay, late in the afternoon, listening to some new tracks while stuck in traffic, which I didn't seem to mind. It was the perfect setting... The city coming to life in the perfect summer evening, cosmopolitan folks abound, with a beautiful woman in my car looking sexy as hell, gently moving along to the great house music blasting in my car and an all around good vibe of an awesome night ahead. This mix tries to capture that fantastic feeling with a bunch of tracks that I was listening to that day.It starts of slower and more subtle and steadily builds up into a funky vibrant sound through out the course of the session. Particular tracks that I'm really feelin' right now include the Taka Boom - Takas Groove (phenomenal deepish track perfectly suited); The The Littlemen -Call Me, Chris Robson-Preachin and especially Organized Crime - Downtown Brown. (apart from being a great track it will always remind me of my GF's sexy dance to this track in my car turning up my stereo and bouncing off the walls) Simply magical tracks. Enjoy! tracklist 1. Hanna feat Ajazmir - [Blockhead] Sometimes (Calico Give Me A Kiss I Am Lonely Remix) 2. Sonny Fodera - [Sly City] Backup 3. Kinky Movement - [Shakin] Finger Funk (Evan Rhodes Deep Thrill Mix) 4. Taka Boom - [Blaktrax] Takas Groove 5. Chris Robson - [Guesthouse] Booda Man 6. Giom - [Black Cherry] Just Trippen 7. The Littlemen - [Mobile Trax] Call Me 8. Luvlux ft Karina Nistal - [Kolour] Waterpark Funk (Marcus Aurelius Dub) 9. Pocket Aces - [Tango] Movin 10. Organized Crime -[Spatula City] Downtown Brown 11. Chris Robson - [Deep II Disco] Preachin 12. Fabio Bacchini - [Mindtravel] Stuff n Junk 13. Otto Brooklyn -[Candy Music] Nobody Else 14. Bryan Jones - [Flapjack] I Know You Feel 15. Due to capacity issue I have had to remove the audio file from the podcast, but no worries; You can download the full 320kbps file here: http://www.dsev.com/music%20mixes/housesessions2.mp3 Hi there, June has proven to be an extremely busy month for me so I dug in my crates and pulled out one of my older "All Vinyl" mixes from a few years ago.I've got over 5,000 records still lying around and I think its time to brush off the dust from my turntables and do some new vinyl mixes again with tracks I consider new classics, rather than old school. Records that are between 5-15 years old, which to me, were the golden years of House. I'd have to dig up the records to get the exact track listing so email me with any special questions about particular tracks. There's some Mark Farina, Inland Knights, Rasoul, Panhandle Records tracks, and other Gems in there. So sit back, enjoy this mix and look forward to 2 more all vinyl mixes coming this summer. About Kingsley FlowzKingsley Flowz is truly a global child. He grew up in Vienna, Austria Parents from Cameroon and now resides in New York City. These influences have all played a major factor in both his sound and style. Kingsley started to DJ back as a teenager in Europe before coming to the US for college. After college, he moved to Philadelphia and slowly but steadily built a solid following through his intricate sets and unique sounds. Kingsley’s goal is to take people on a journey with each set. Letting them feel like they were part of the experience. Naturally the next step was to get involved in the production side of things. Kingsley started distributing his music to a bunch of the DJ’s in the Philadelphia, Baltimore and D.C. scene. After doing the white label thing for a few years, Kingsley decided to move to New York City in 2002 in order to focus on establishing dsev music. 18 releases later and a bunch of licensed tracks (most recently 3 on the new Diz CD from House With love on Loveslap) Kingsley continues to push his brand and taste of house to the masses. Kingsley is also the founder and president of The Nightlyfe Group, which includes a Nightlyfe TV, Nightlyfe Magazine, Nightlyfe City, Nightlyfe Radio and website portals all focused on night life. A very busy man these days, Kingsley still finds solid time to DJ and perform nationwide at night while doing the business during the day. DSEV Music tracks are sold on Stompy.com. Juno.co.uk, BeatsDigital, Xpressbeats, Clickgroove.com as well as select vinyl stores the world over.
